This week's dilemma is from a Master's graduate with several internships under her belt, struggling to get a full-time job. Tutu Morgan, Special Advisor to the UNGA Secretary General responds.
I graduated over a year ago from my Master's degree in International Diplomacy and Relations. I've done numerous internships, at some of the top institutions such as the EU Commission and a global charity. I also volunteered for a year while I studied for my postgraduate degree. I am really struggling to find full-time positions that require any less than 2-3 years experience, which I technically have through my various internships and volunteering experiences, but I'm not getting through to interview. Any advice on how to present my experience in a way that is convincing to hiring managers?
